Job Summary

Loading and unloading trucks, preparing items for shipment, entering data, and preparing labels. This position also delivers parts, provides transportation for visitors and light housekeeping & maintenance duties.

Essential Functions

• Enter data from packing slips into electronic system.
• Work in conjunction with the front office to ensure all receipts are complete and accurate.\
• Verify incoming shipments to ensure shipments are as specified.
• Ensure shipments are properly packaged.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments & check for damaged goods.
• Ensure products are appropriately identified, routed, and distributed to the appropriate departments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Organize and put away parts.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts.

Position Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving.
• Experience with sit down forklifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Mid-level computer skills.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Prioritize and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Adaptable to a changing work environment and the ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasional kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, balance talk and hear.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Exposure to various temperatures. Heat levels on occasion can be more than moderate during the summer months.
