Sutphen Corporation Celebrates a Successful FDIC International

The Family-Owned, 129-Year-Old Fire Apparatus Manufacturer Celebrated its Customers, Dealers and Expansive Product Line During FDIC International

COLUMBUS, Ohio – With six apparatus, over 200 personnel and 35,000 plus attendees filtering through the booth, Sutphen Corporation embraced new and old members of its family and stood out as one of the “must-see booths” of FDIC 2019.

As thousands of visitors circulated Indianapolis, Sutphen welcomed all to its booth by emphasizing its family roots, highlighting the Sutphen experience and bringing the factory floor to the show floor.

“We wanted to welcome everyone into the booth as family this year at FDIC,” said Marketing and Trade Show Manager Alissa McGlone. “Family is the core of who we are at Sutphen, and in the fire service.  We know that the Sutphen experience is one-of-a-kind and wanted to show FDIC International’s visitors that the Sutphen family stands out and stands strong. Our goal was to bring the factory experience to the show floor, and I think we exceeded the expectation.”

With an expansive product mix available for visitors, Sutphen booth guests were able to see various cab sizes on its extreme-duty chassis; view an expansive product mix of aerials and pumpers; learn from Sutphen educational material; speak with Sutphen dealers, engineers and experts; and more.

“This year, our show line up was strong and exemplified what it means to be a part of Sutphen,” said Sutphen Director of Sale and Marketing Zach Rudy. “Not only was our show line up incredible, but our expansive dealer network and representatives helped visitors feel welcomed to our family.”
