Durham Fire Department North Carolina
(1) SP 95 Aerial Platform
Chief Bruce T. Pagan, Jr. and the City of Durham Fire Department recently took delivery of this Sutphen Model SP95 which is a 95 ft. aerial platform. The apparatus features a Sutphen cab chassis and stainless steel body. Cummins ISM 450 HP engine, Allison EVS4000 transmission. Hale 1500 GPM QMAX pump midship pump, stainless steel pump plumbing, seven spare cylinder compartments in the fender wells, all Whelen LED warning light package. A Smart Power 6 KW PTO generator with electric rewind cord reels as well as a hydraulic hose reel for vehicle extrication. This apparatus was sold and is serviced by Stevens Fire Equipment, Inc. Morganton NC.

Greensboro Fire Department North Carolina
(1) SP 70 Aerial Platform
Fire Chief Greg Grayson and the City of Greensboro Fire Department recently took delivery of this Sutphen SP70 Aerial platform. The apparatus features a Cummins ISM 450 HP engine, Allison EVS4000 transmission, Hale QMAX 1500 GPM pump, 300 Gallon water tank, Williams ATP 500 foam system. Bolted stainless steel rescue body with a full pumper style hose bed. You will notice that this is done on a single rear axle which is great for maneuverability. The platform will flow 1500 GPM with the twin nozzles. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Stevens Fire Equipment, Inc. Morganton NC.

Carbon VFD Greensburg, PA
(1) SPH 100 Aerial Platform
Chief George Reese and the Carbon VFD have taken delivery of their new SPH 100 Mid-Mount Aerial Platform. Purchased through FEMA grant assistance, the new unit features a 500 HP Cummins engine,
2,000 GPM Hale pump, 300 gallons of water, Foam system, Stainless steel body and sub structure, and
Protected waterway to the aerial. This unit was sold by Jeff Britt and Tom Freeman.

Summit Ironville Fire Dept. Ashland, KY
(1) SL 75 Aerial Ladder
Chief Chief Charles Buzz McDowell of the Summit Ironville Fire Department, Ashland, KY recently took delivery of their 2010 Sutphen SL75 aerial ladder. The unit includes a Custom 62" cab with a 10" raised roof, Stainless Steel Rescue style body construction, Cummins ISM 500 hp engine, Allison EVS 4000 Transmission, 2000 GPM Hale Qmax pump, 500 Gallon UPF poly water tank, Smart Power 10KW generator, Command Light KL-465 Light Tower, additional FRC scene lighting, Electric cord reel, Whelen LED lighting package. The SL75 aluminum Huck bolted aerial ladder provides a 3:1 rating with a 1000 lb. tip load dry / 750 lb. tip load wet. This is the first Sutphen apparatus purchased by the Summit Ironville Fire Dept. This unit was sold by Harry Sutphen.

Whitney Point Fire Department New York
(1) Monarch Rescue Pumper
Has taken delivery of a new Sutphen Monarch Rescue Pumper. This rig features a 500 HP Cummins ISM, a Waterous 1500 GPM pump, 750 Gallon water tank and has a 6KW SmartPower Generator. The body is full depth both sides and carries an assortment of rescue tools and equipment. There is seating for 6 in the cab and the truck runs Whelen Warning lights, a LED brow light and Whelen siren, as well as a Federal Qsiren. There are Fire Research Telescoping quartz lights on the cab. This is Whitney Point’s first Sutphen, but not the first one in the area there as they are surrounded by Sutphen trucks and engines. The truck was sold by Phil Vander Molen, with Jim Snyder.

Maynard Fire Department New York
(1) Monarch Custom Pumper
Sutphen East is proud to announce the delivery of Maynard, NY Custom Pumper. This unit features a Sutphen custom chassis with 425HP ISL Cummins, 15” raised roof and seating for 6. The Apparatus also has a HALE 2000 GPM QMAX pump, 2 speed lays, 2 crosslays, and deck gun. The generator is a Harrison 20KW. The tank holds 750 gallons of water / 50 Foam. Stainless body, ROM roll up doors, upper hatch compartments and custom ladder storage complete this vehicle. This apparatus was sold by Phil Vander Molen.

Village of Scotia New York
(1) SP 95 Aerial Platform
The Village of Scotia, NY Fire Department has taken delivery and is putting into service a new 2010 Sutphen SP95, Low Rail Aerial Platform to replace its current 27 year old 1983 Sutphen Tower. This new beast, like, the original, features a Huck Bolted aluminum box boom aerial with a 1000# capacity—however, this truck has significantly more storage capacity with the “high side/low side” body layout. The truck is powered by a 500 HP Cummins ISM motor. The truck has a 1500 GPM Hale Qmax pump and there is a special ladder compliment designed by the truck committee. The body is stainless steel and the truck carries 300 gallons of water. A 15KW Onan Hydraulic generator powers the dual Hannay cord reels and the Fire Research Optimum Lighting. This truck has to be built extra low and extra short to fit into the original fire station. Phil Vander Molen sold this truck.

Fairmount Fire Department New York
(1) Custom Monarch Pumper
The Fairmount Fire Department Inc. of Syracuse, NY has recently taken delivery and placed in service this new 2010 Sutphen Monarch Engine with “Rescue Capabilities”. This truck has all the special features: Amkus Rescue tool, reel and 2” hoseline in the front bumper. Whelen LED lighting as well dual Mars 888’s and a traffic clearing Roto-Ray. The Fire Research lights, light tower, and dual Hannay electric cord reels are powered by a 20KW Smart Power hydraulic generator. The Cab is the large Sutphen Monarch cab with special transverse compartments. A 500 HP Cummins ISM powers the rig and churns the Hale Qmax 2000 GPM pump which also fires a flame killing Akron Deckmaster/Sabermaster remote control deck gun. The truck carries 1000 Gallons of water and also has a Foam Pro 5.0 Class A foam system, and Dual Master Intake Valves. Hand Painted custom lettering and all graphics was provided by artist Robert Whelan. The new Pride of the Fairmount Fleet was sold by Phil Vander Molen.

Sutphen East is proud to announce the delivery of Lancaster, NY Custom Pumper. This unit features a Sutphen custom chassis with 435HP ISM Cummins, 10” raised roof and seating for 8. The Apparatus also has a HALE 1750 GPM QMAX pump, Foam Logix 2.1 system, 3 speed lays and deck gun. The generator is a Smart Power 15KW. The tank holds 750 gallons of water and 30 gallons of Foam. Stainless steel body, ROM roll up doors and rear ladder chute complete this vehicle. This apparatus was sold by Tim Norris/Dan Herb.

Metz Fire Department Indiana
(1) C Series C5
Chief Rich Enfield and the Metz Fire Department recently took delivery of this Sutphen C5 pumper. This unit includes an International 4400 Series 4-door cab, 1250 gpm Hale pump, 1000 gallon water tank, Whelen LED lighting package, 3/16” extruded aluminum body, Fire Research 1000W telescoping lights, and a Kussmaul pump plus system. This truck was sold by Andy Herb.
