St. Clair Shores Fire Department St. Clair Shores, MI
(1) Shield Series Rescue Pumper
St. Clair Shores recently took delivery of this stainless steel custom Paramedic Rescue/Pumper. It features a Detroit Diesel series 60, 455hp, Hale Qmax-150, 1500 gpm, 750 gallon poly tank, Smartpower 8.0 KW generator, Whelen LED lighting and Hurst ML 28 Defender Spreader, MOC II Cutter and T-41 Telescoping ram, powered by Mini-Mate Simo power unit. The unit was sold by Bob Konupek with Apollo Fire Equipment.
Volga Fire Department Volga, SD
(1) C Series Rescue Pumper
Chief Dave Jacobson along with the members of the Volga Vol. Fire Department recently took delivery of this 2009 Sutphen C3 (International chassis) top mount Engine. The apparatus is equipped with a Waterous 1500 GPM pump, Waterous Aquis class A foam system, 1000 gallon tank, 20 gallon foam cell, two (2) speed lays, and a Akron SaberMaster remote controlled top Monitor with AkroFoam attachment. This Rescue style pumper has a full Whelen LED Light package, a hydraulic ladder rack, numerous slide out trays and tool boards, running board troughs, a 6KW PTO generator with 750 watt telescoping flood lights and cord reels. This apparatus was sold by Matt Anderson of M & T Fire and Safety, Inc. of South Dakota.
Clarence Fire District New York
(1) Monarch Rescue
The Clarence Fire District has taken delivery of their new Sutphen Monarch Corp Rescue Engine. The unit features: 73" Cab with 15" raised roof, AC, fully custom side mount pump module, Extruded aluminum true rescue body with coffin compartments, Hale 2000 gpm pump, 750 water/30 foam, Foam Pro 2001 system, Onan 15kw generator, 6000 watt Command light, various cord reels, Whelen LED lighting and much, much more. Thanks goes out to Chief Chad Hawes and his apparatus committee for all their hard work. New apparatus was sold and serviced by Tim Norris/Dan Herb.
City of Findlay Fire Dept. Ohio
(1) SPH 100 Aerial Platform
Chief Tom Lonyo of the City of Findlay recently took delivery of this Sutphen Model SPH100 100 ft. Aerial platform. The apparatus features a Detroit Diesel Series 60 Engine 515 HP, Allison EVS4000 transmission, 236” wheelbase, air-ride rear suspension, full height compartments left and right side, Hale QMAX 2000 GPM pump, three crosslays (2) 1-1/2” and (1) 2-1/2”, 300 Gallon water tank, 15KW Onan generator, Command Light Tower, and Sutphen’s 5 section aerial and large platform. The apparatus was sold by Andy Herb.
Kittanning #6 Fire Dept. Pennsylvania
(1) Monarch Rescue
Chief Scott Kline and the members of the Kittanning No 6 Fire Company have placed into service their second Sutphen custom apparatus. The Sutphen Monarch pumper features a Cummins 500HP engine and a Waterous 1750 GPM pump. The extreme duty extruded aluminum rescue body features a abundance of compartment space and unique roller bearing slide out crosslays. The unit is build on a Sutphen produced Monarch chassis with a raised roof. This apparatus has a 500 gallon tank and all LED lighting as well as a light tower mounted in a unique manner at the front of the hose bed. This unique pumper was sold by Jeff Britt of Jeff Britt Fire Apparatus Sales and Service representing Sutphen in Western Pennsylvania.
Buckhannon Fire Dept. West Virginia
(1) Shield Series S2
The Buckhannon Fire Department in Buckhannon, WV recently took delivery of this Sutphen S-2 Aluminum Body Custom Pumper. The apparatus is equipped with a Cummins ISL 400HP with an Allison EVS3000 transmission. The pump is a Hale QMAX 1500GPM with a 2.1 Foam System and a 1000-gallon tank. The Rescue Style Body full dept compartments with rear ladder chute on the officers side. The apparatus has a 6.0 KW Hydraulic Generator with tri-pod and telescopic 750 watt Fire Research Lights. Also Whelen LED Warning Light Package. This is Buckhannon Fire Dept. first purchase of a New Sutphen. The apparatus was sold by Harry Sutphen & JW Jones
Town of Carrboro Fire Dept. North Carolina
(1) SPH 100 Aerial Platform
Chief Travis Crabtree of the Town of Carrboro recently took delivery of this Sutphen Model SPH100 100’ Aerial Platform. The apparatus features a 6 person cab, Detroit Diesel Series S60 Engine 515 HP, Allison EVS4000 transmission, 236” wheelbase, full height compartments left and right side, two crosslays (2) 1-3/4” and (1) 3” dry storage. 300 Gallon water tank, rear view camera and Sutphen’s 5 section aerial and large platform. This is the first SPH100 for the department. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Stevens Fire Equipment, Inc., North Carolina.
City of Oneonta Fire Dept. New York
(1) Monarch Rescue
Oneonta has taken delivery of its first Sutphen Custom Monarch Pumper. It features a 500 HP Cummins ISM engine, Hale 1750 GPM single stage pump and 1250 Gallon Poly Tank. It features a 15Kw Onan Generator and 9000 watt Command Light tower. The body is 3/16” aluminum. It features Whelen LED warning lights and Fire Research Scene lights. This unit was sold by Phil Vander Molen Fire Apparatus Sales.
Thompsonville Fire District #2 Enfield, CT
(1) SL 75
Thompsonville Fire District #2 in Enfield, CT has taken delivery of their new SL 75 Aerial Ladder. The unit features a Sutphen 62” cab with 10” raised roof and Detroit Diesel 515hp engine. Other features of the truck include the Hale QMAX 1500 gpm pump, 500 gallon poly water tank, Whelen emergency lighting, Harrison Hydraulic 20kw generator, and Fire Research floodlights. This unit was sold by Five Star Fire of East Hartford, CT.
Greensboro Fire Dept. NC
(1) SP 70
Chief David Spears of the City of Greensboro recently took delivery of this Sutphen Model SP70 70+ Aerial Platform. Featuring Sutphen’s NEW Monarch 6 man cab. The apparatus features a Detroit Series 60 455 HP engine with a Allison EVS4000 transmission. On-Spot tire chains, 47,000 Lb. GVWR, all stainless steel rescue body, Hale Qmax 1500 GPM pump, extended front bumper with a trash line, two rear 2-1/2” discharges and a fully open hosebed. Platform features dual turrets, enclosed waterway and breathing air to the platform. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Stevens Fire Equipment, Inc., North Carolina.
