Mount Kisco Fire Department New York
(1) SPH 100 Aerial Platform
The Mount Kisco Fire Department has taken delivery of a new Sutphen SPH100 Aerial Platform. The unit includes a 6-man custom cab, Whelen LED light package, Onan 10KW generator, Two (2) Hannay electric reels, full compliment of ground ladders, custom tool mounting and many more features. City of Jeannette Fire Dept. Jeannette, PA
(1) SP 95 Aerial Platform
The City of Jeannette Fire Dept. has taken delivery of a SP95 aerial platform thanks to assistance from FEMA's AFG program. It features a 6 man Monarch cab, with a 500 HP Cummins motor. The truck has a 2000 gpm Hale Qmax 200 single stage pump. It carries a 500 Gallon water tank, 25-gallon Class A Foam Tank, and a Williams "High Head" around the pump 1500V-A variable adjustment metering valve foam system w/ air controls. Its hosebed holds up to 800' of 5" supply line. It comes with 2 - 200' 1 3/4 preconnect attack lines and a 3" rear discharge that will hold a 200' 2" blitz line off the rear of the truck. The platform monitors include a fully automatic adjustable and remote controlled monitor off the driver’s side and a straight bore nozzle off the passenger side. A 10KW ONAN generator lights up the 7 - 750 Watt Optimum FRC Scene lights and one Focus Scene light under the platform. This truck carries over 104' of ladders. This truck was sold by Jeff Britt
Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Department NY
(1) Monarch Pumper
Chief Robert Newell JR and the Kripplebush-Lyonsville Fire Department have taken delivery of a Sutphen engine. The engine has seating for 6 firefighters, a Cummins ISL 400 diesel engine and an EVS3000 Allison transmission. An all aluminum body with full depth rescue style compartments on both sides provides over 300 cubic feet of storage space. ROM roll up doors provide easy access to items stored in these compartments. Ladders and pikes stored inside between the 1000 gallon Poly tank and the right compartments, they can be accessed from the rear of the apparatus. A Darley, PSD 1250 GPM pump with CAFS is controlled from a top mounted operator’s panel. A 7.5 KW FABCO hydraulic generator supplies AC to four Fire Research 750 watt push up lights located at the corners of the body. All warning, compartment and vehicle lights are LED's providing long life and low power consumption. This unit was sold by Mike Myers and John Kelleher of Myers Fire Equipment.
Jupiter Fire & Rescue North Carolina
(1) Monarch Rescue Pumper
Chief Jeff Allman and the Jupiter Fire & Rescue Department took delivery of this Sutphen Monarch Pumper. The apparatus features a Cummins ISM 500 HP engine with an Allison EVS4000 transmission. Smart Power 10 KW PTO Generator with a SVI Command Light telescoping light tower. The Sutphen body is an all extruded aluminum body with large compartments on both sides of the apparatus. To accommodate as much compartment space as possible the Fire Department chose a horizontal hydraulic ladder rack. Note the low crosslays another requirement of the Fire Department. Bryan Fire Department Ohio
(1) Monarch Rescue Pumper
Chief Bruce Siders of the Bryan Fire Department recently took delivery of this Sutphen Monarch pumper. The pumper features a Sutphen flat roof Ambassador Cab, with four seats and two EMS cabinets. The truck is powered by a Cummins ISL 400 HP engine. The pump is a Hale Q-Max 1500 GPM pump with a front suction and an Akron by-pass educator foam system. The truck includes a 10KW Smartpower generator and 1000 Gallon Water tank. The body features full depth full height rescue body both left and right hand side. The ground ladders and hard suction are stored on two separate Zico electric racks. The apparatus was sold by Andy Herb of Herb Fire Equipment in Powell, OH.
Erie Township Fire Department Ohio
(1) Shield Series S3
Chief Marty Mortus and the Erie Twp Fire Department recently took delivery of this Sutphen Shield S3 pumper. The apparatus features a Cummins ISC 360 HP Engine with an Allison EVS3000 transmission. The pumper has a QMAX 1500 GPM pump with top mount pump controls and two 1-3/4” speedlays and a 1000 gallon water tank. An extended front mount bumper with a covered hose through for pre-connected attack line. The body is an all aluminum full height full depth rescue body both left and right side with a Zico hydraulic ladder rack on the officer’s side. A 10 KW PTO Smart-power generator powers a Command Light Tower, Fire Research Telescoping lights and a Hannay Cord Reel. The apparatus was sold by Andy Herb of Herb Fire Equipment in Powell, OH.
Greenville Fire Department South Carolina
(1) SP 70 Aerial Platform
Chief W. T. McDowell, Jr. And the Greenville, SC took delivery of this Sutphen SP70 platform. The apparatus features a Cummins ISM 500 HP engine with an Allison EVS4000 transmission. The Sutphen cab has a six inch rear extension with a large EMS compartment. The pump is a Hale QMAX 1500 GPM with a Williams ATP 500 foam system and a Hale pump panel mounted quick fill foam system to eliminate the firefighter from having to dump 5 gallon buckets of foam into the onboard 30 gallon foam cell. The body is stainless steel modular constructed and bolted together for ease of repair in case of an accident. The ladder is Sutphen Huck Bolted ladder and boom with a platform capable of flowing 1500 GPM out of two separate monitors. The apparatus was sold by Stevens Fire equipment, Inc. Morganton North Carolina Jerry Stevens & Tripp Crosby.
Coweta County Fire Dept. GA
(1) Sutphen Heavy Resuce
Coweta County Fire Dept., Georgia has taken delivery of their new Custom Heavy Rescue Truck. This unit features Sutphen chassis with 8 person cab with a rear 20” raised roof, 124” cab length, 31 inch front bumper with duel 100’ reels HURST spreader and cutter. A Cummins ISM 500 HP motor, Onan 10kw PTO Generators with Duel Electric Power-Cord Reels. Sold by Matt Williams of Williams Fire Apparatus.
Greenwood Fire Department Arkansas
(1) SP 70 Aerial Platform
Greenwood Fire Department, Arkansas has taken delivery of their new Sutphen 70+ Quint Aerial Platform. This unit features a 53,000 lb. GVW Sutphen chassis with 10” raised roof cab, 500 hp Cummins, 1500 GPM Hale Qmax pump, 500 gallon booster tank, quint ground ladders, hydraulic generator with electric cord reel, multiple 110 V lights, Code 3 LED warning light system. This unit was sold by Dean Shumaker.
Syracuse Fire Department NY
(1) SP 95 Aerial Platform
The SFD has taken delivery of another (this it the 24th Supthen tower) SP95 aerial platform. It features a 500 HP Cummins motor and a 1500 GPM Hale Qmax pump. A 6KW Smartpower generator lights up the FRC Quartz lights and dual cord reels. This truck carries a matching set of ground ladders on either side of the body, adding up to over 200’ of ground ladders on this truck. Whelen LED lights are used for warning and a Federal Q siren fills out the front grille. The ˝” plate steel front bumper is designed to “win” its way through the city, providing the extra measure of safety for the firefighters. This truck was sold by Phil Vander Molen
