Monmouth Beach Fire Dept. New Jersey
(1) SP 95 Remounted Aerial
The Monmouth Beach NJ Fire Department has taken delivery of this Remounted SP 95 Aerial Platform. The unit features a Sutphen 8-person cab, 515 HP Detroit Diesel engine, 1500 gpm Hale pump, and 500-gallon water tank. The aerial was taken off of an older unit and remounted on the new chassis and body, and also features a new 3-door bucket. This apparatus also includes a discharge at the front bumper, a 10kw hydraulic generator, and Federal AeroDynamic LED light bars. Thank you to Tim Griffin for submitting the write up and photos.

Sentinel Heights VFD New York
(1) Sheild Series S3
Sentinel Heights Vol. Fire Dept. Inc. Has placed in service this new 2010 Sutphen S3 Rescue Pumper. It is built on the Sutphen Heavy Duty Shield Cab and Chassis. It features a 1000 gallon water tank, Waterous CSU 1500 GPM pump, Akron Valves, Cummins ISL9 400 HP Clean Diesel Motor. There is an 8 KW Smart Power Generator and Fire Research Lights, including an LED brow light. Warning lights are by Whelen. The body is made of 3/16” extruded aluminum and features full depth compartments on both sides. The ladder rack is made by Ziamatic. There are two Akron/GFE electric cord reels. Phil Vander Molen sold this truck.

West Sand Lake Fire District New York
(1) Custom Pumper
West Sand Lake Fire District has received its new Sutphen Monarch Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Pumper. It features a 2011 Sutphen Monarch Pumper body,
Stainless body and subframe, 1500 Hale Qmax, 8KW Smartpower Generator, 1000 gallon Propoly tank, 450 HP Cummins ISM, Whelen LED scene and warning lights,
Federal Q, Dual Mars and Rotoray lights, Fire Research Tele lights, PAC Trac tool boards throughout for equipment mounting, and a Hannay 200’ cord reel. Phil Vander Molen sold this truck.

Manlius Fire Department New York
(1) Commericial 4x4 Pumper
The Manlius Fire Department in Onondaga County, NY has placed in service the first of an order of two new Sutphen fire trucks. This first one, a Sutphen-International 7400 4x4 pumper features a 330 HP Maxforce 9 engine. The pump is by Hale, a DSD 1250 GPM, run off the transfer case PTO. There is a 500 gallon water tank by Propoly and the 3/16” aluminum compartments are full depth, on both sides allowing this rig to be utilized for MVA’s. This apparatus will cover the village as well as the rural and hill district of Manlius. Warning and Scene Lights are LED, by Whelen. There is a Whelen and Federal Q siren as well as a Smartpower 10KW hydraulic generator. The FD has added a cord reel, two hydraulic reels, two hydraulic HRT pumps, cribbing, structural and wildland interface equipment to the truck. Phil Vander Molen sold this truck. Manlius’ new Sutphen aerial truck will be arriving late in 2011.

Town of Falmouth Maine
(1) Shield Series S2
Falmouth, ME is the proud owner of the first new Sutphen fire truck in the state of Maine. The new Sutphen pumper model is a Shield S2, and features a custom six man cab, heavy duty custom built chassis featuring a double frame rail ensuring a 20+ year life span. The apparatus is powered by a Cummins ISL 450 Horsepower Diesel Engine and an Allison EVS-3000 automatic transmission. Other features include: A Hale 1500 GPM fire pump, Hale Foam-Logix Class “A” foam system, a Command light tower on the top of the body, 1000 gallon water tank and a 20 gallon class A foam tank. A Smart Power Hydraulic Generator and a Crestar Deck Gun w stacked tips. The body is a 100% extruded 3/16” thick aluminum body designed to provide many years of service life. The truck was sold by Robert Kailher of Five Star Fire, located in East Hartford, CT. Five Star Fire is the authorized sales, service and warranty center for Sutphen product in New England

Coweta County Fire Dept., Georgia has taken delivery of their first Sutphen Monarch Pumper. This unit features a Cummins ISM 500 HP diesel engine, Allison Automatic EVS Transmission and a 4 man custom cab. The pump is a Hale QMAX 1500 GPM, with foam system, 3- speed lays-two with removable ploy trays. It features an onboard Foam Pro 2001 foam system. The tank is a 750 gal poly tank with a built in 30 gal foam tank. Front Bumper Discharge, 10kw Onan Gen set, Command Light Tower with protective front and sides painted to match the cab, EMS Cabinet in Cab, custom shelving and tool boards. Hard suction located in hose bed, Rom roll up doors, On spot tire chains. Whelen LED lighting, LED ROTO RAY center of gill and Electric cord reel complete this unit. (1) Monarch Rescue Pumper
South Windsor, CT has taken delivery their first new Sutphen Pumper. The new rig features an all heavy duty aluminum body mounted on a 73” Monarch cab/chassis. A Cummins ISM 450 HP engine, a 1500 GPM Hale Q-Max pump with a Hale Foam Logix 5.0 system, 750 gallons of water and 50 gallons of Foam. A Smartpower 10KW Hydraulic Generator. Whelen LED warning & scene Lights. The total length of the truck is approximately 32’. The unit was sold by Jim Lyons of Five Star Fire of East Hartford, CT.

Palm Beach County FL Fire Rescue has just taken delivery of a Sutphen SP-70, 70 ft Platform. this unit is equipped with a Cummins ISM-500 hp engine, Allison Transmission, 1500 GPM Hale Pump, 500 gal tank, 8KW Smart Power Hydraulic Generator, Cord Reel, Stainless Steel body, ROM Roll up doors, EMS Cabinet in Cab, Front Bumper Discharge, Numerous Shelves and Trays. This unit was sold and serviced by South Florida Emergency Vehicles.

The tank is a 1000 gal poly tank with a built in 30 gal foam tank. Aluminum extruded body, 10kw Onan Gen set, Wil-Burt light tower recessed in the pump module, custom shelving and tool boards, coffin compartments, speedy dry hopper, Rom roll up doors, Whelen LED lighting and Electric cord reels complete this unit. This Unit was sold by Myers Fire.

Sutphen East is proud to announce the delivery of the Fort Lee, NJ Custom Pumper / Tanker. This unit features a Sutphen custom Monarch chassis with a 515hp Detroit Diesel engine, a Telma retarder and an 8 man custom cab. The pump is a Waterous CMUH 2000gpm - 3 stage pump, with all electric valves / flow meters, 3 cross lays, 3 - 2 1/2" side discharges, 2 - 2 1/2" rear discharges and a TFT Monsoon remote control deck gun. It features an onboard Foam Pro 3060D Class B foam system. The tank is a 2000 gal poly tank with a built in 250 gal foam tank. 15kw Harrison Gen set, Wil-Burt light tower recessed in the cab roof, custom equipment mounting, rescue tools, cord reels, Rom roll up doors, Whelen LED lighting and Vogul auto lube system complete this unit. This Unit was sold by Tim Moots.
