Greensboro Fire Dept. NC
(1) SPH 100
Chief David Spears of the City of Greensboro recently took delivery of this Sutphen Model SPH100 100 ft. Aerial platform. The apparatus features the NEW Sutphen Monarch 6 person cab, Detroit Diesel Series 60 Engine 490 HP, Allison EVS4000 transmission, 230” wheelbase, air-ride rear suspension, full height compartments left and right side, three crosslays (2) 1-1/2” and (1) 2-1/2”. 300 Gallon water tank, side view and rear view camera’s and Sutphen’s 5 section aerial and large platform. This is the second SPH100 that the department has. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Stevens Fire Equipment, Inc., North Carolina.
City of Durham Fire Department NC
(1) SP95
Chief Bruce T. Pagan Jr. of the City of Durham North Carolina recently took delivery of their Sutphen SP95 Aerial Platform. The apparatus features a Sutphen heavy Duty 6 person cab with a Cummins ISM 475-HP engine with an Allison EVS4000 transmission. Hale Qmax 1500 GPM pump, twin crosslays, dual monitors on the platform capable of flowing a total of 1500 GPM. All stainless steel body with a fully opened hose bed for ease of hose deployment, 300 Gallon water tank. Additional features are a David Clark seven position intercom system, Smart Power 6KW generator and an all Whelen LED light package. The apparatus was sold by Stevens Fire Equipment, Inc. North Carolina and is serviced by City of Durham Fleet Management.

The Orlando International Airport recently took delivery of thier 2009 Sutphen S-3 Shield series Rescue Pumper. The unit features a 1500 gpm Hale Pump, Top Mount Pump Panel, Front Bumper Discharge, 750 Gal Tank, Williams AP-500 Foam System, 50 gal Foam Cell, 6KW Smart Power Hydraulic Generator, (4) 750 watt Lights, Brow Light, Numerous Shelves, Trays, and Tool Boards. Hydraulic Rescue Reels, Electric Cord reel, Disc Brakes, 400hp ISL Cummins, Severe Duty A/C, All LED Warning Light Package, sold by David Stonitsch, South Florida Emergency Vehicles.
Marysville Fire Department Marysville, OH
(1) Shield Series S2
Chief Gary Johnson of The City of Marysville Fire Department of Marysville, OH recently took delivery of this Sutphen S-2 Aluminum Body Custom Pumper. The apparatus is equipped with a Cummins ISL 370HP with an Allison EVS3000 transmission. The pump is a Hale Qmax 1500 gpm and a Hale class A foam system is included. A 1000-gallon water tank is on the truck. The Rescue Style Body full dept compartments with a ladder chute on the officer side. The apparatus has a 8000 Watt SmartPower hydraulic generator with telescopic 750 Watt lights. The warning lights are a Whelen LED Light Package. The extended front bumper houses a 1-3/4” trash line and a Holmatro Quick Connect port. A complete set of Holmatro Rescue tools in carried on the engine. The City of Marysville now has Sutphen trucks for all of their front line apparatus. The apparatus was sold by Andy Herb
Village of Catskill Fire Dept. Catskill, Ny
(1) SP 95 Remount
The Village of Catskill Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2008 Sutphen truck with a remanufactured aerial tower. The body is made of stainless steel. The pump is by Hale and is rated at 1500 GPM. There is a Honda EU6500 generator which powers Fire Research Scene Lights. The body warning package is by Whelen and is LED. Custom shelving was installed at the Sutphen East Facility. The truck is powered by a Cummins ISL 425 HP engine mated to an Allison EVS 3000 transmission. The truck carries 400 gallons of water. This is the FIRST aerial platform in Green County, NY! After years of research, the Fire Department researched many manufacturers and found that Sutphen was the clear choice. The truck was sold by Phil Vander Molen.
Saratoga Springs Fire Dept. Saratoga Springs, NY
(1) Shield Series S1
Saratoga Springs has taken delivery of a 2009 Sutphen S1, Stainless Steel Shield Series Pumper. It is equipped with a 370 HP Cummins ISL motor, 1500 GPM Hale Q-Max Single Stage Pump, 750 Gallons of Water in a Propoly Tank, 20 Gallons of foam and a Hale Foam Logix 2.1 Foam System. A Command Light Knight KL465 Light tower and Akron 200’ electric rewind cord reel are powered by a Smart Power 8 KW hydraulic generator. Fire Research HID 150 watt telescoping lights and Whelen LED warning lights complete the package. The pumper was manufactured at Sutphen East in White Lake, NY and it is Saratoga’s third Sutphen! The unit was sold by Phil VanderMolen.
City of Clarksburg FD Clarksburg, WV

Chief Rick Scott of The City of Clarksburg Fire Department of Clarksburg, WV recently took delivery of this Sutphen S-2 Aluminum Body Custom Pumper. The apparatus is equipped with a Cummins ISL 425HP with an Allison EVS3000 transmission. The pump is a Waterous CS 1250 gpm and a 750-gallon water tank. The Rescue Style Body full dept compartments with a ladder chute on the officer side. The apparatus has a 5000 Watt Honda generator with telescopic 750 Watt lights and a 12Volt Brow light. Also Whelen LED Warning Light Package. The extended front bumper houses a 1-3/4” trash line This is City of Clarksburg Fire Dept. first purchase of a New Sutphen. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Harry Sutphen.
Main-Transit Fire Dept. Amherst, NY
(3) Shield Series S2
The Main Transit Fire Department has taken delivery of their new apparatus. All 3 are 2009 Sutphen Shield Series S2 apparatus with 10" RR, A/C, 400HP Cummins ISL, Hale 1500GPM Top mounts, 750 water/30 foam with a Hale Foam Logix system for each. They all have 8kw Smart Power generators, FRC scene lighting, Whelen LED emergency lighting. Thanks goes out to everybody on the MTFD apparatus committee as well as Dan Herb for his hard work. Apparatus sold and serviced by Tim Norris/Dan Herb.
Woonsocket Fire Dept. Woonsocket, RI
(1) SPH 100
Chief Kenneth Finlay of the Woonsocket Fire Department recently took delivery of a new SPH 100 Five Section 100’ Aerial Platform. The department decided on the Sutphen SPH after extensive review of available trucks in the industry. The unit features a 10” raised roof cab, Cummins ISM 435 HP engine, EVS 4000 transmission, Whelen LED light package, Onan 10kw hydraulic generator, custom stainless steel compartments with painted ROM roll-up doors. The truck is equipped with two monitors and a 230” wheelbase that proves to be highly maneuverable in the City. The truck was sold by Bob Kailher of American Fire Equipment, Easton, MA.
New Concord VFD New Concord, OH
(1) Monarch Rescue Pumper
New Concord Fire Department of New Concord, Ohio recently took delivery of this 2009 Sutphen Aluminum Body Monarch Rescue Pumper. The unit features an extended 73" cab with a 15" raised roof and overhead interior EMS compartments. The engine is a Cummins ISM 500 HP with an Allison EVS4000 transmission. The pump is a Hale QMAX 1500 GPM and a 750-gallon water tank. The Rescue Style Body features full depth compartments and upper body storage dual coffin compartments. The ladders are stored above the water tank. The apparatus has an Onan 15 KW PTO generator with telescopic 1500-Watt lights and recessed quartz lights all around the apparatus with electric cord reels. There are four receivers around the apparatus for a portable wench stored in the bumper. The extended front bumper houses a 1-3/4" trash line This is New Concord Fire Departments first purchase of a New Sutphen. The apparatus was sold and serviced by Harry Sutphen.
