South Hadley Fire District #1 Connecticut
(1) Shield Series Pumper
The South Hadley Fire District #1 has taken delivery of their new Sutphen Shield Series Pumper. This unit features a Sutphen cab, Cummins ISL 400 HP engine, and Allison EVS 3000 transmission. Other highlights of this unit include the Hale QMAX 1500 GPM pump, 750-gallon water tank, Akron valves, Fire Research Focus flooglights, Smart Power 6kw generator, Hale 5.0 Foam Logix system, and Pac Trac tool mounting. This unit was sold by Fire Star Fire in East Hartford, CT.
City of Hartford Fire Connecticut
(2) Shield Series S2 Pumper
The City of Hartford has recently taken delivery of their new Shield S2 Pumper. This unit features a Sutphen cab, Cummins ISL 370 HP engine, and Allison EVS 3000 transmission. Other highlights of the apparatus include the Waterous CMU 1500 GPM pump, 500-gallon water tank, Fire Research Pump Boss governor, Elkhart valves, Fire Research Optimum lights, and Alco-Lite ground ladders. This unit was sold by Five Star Fire in East Hartford, CT.
North Catawba Fire & Rescue North Carolina
(2) Shield Series S4 Pumper
Chief Randy Swanson and the North Catawba Fire & Rescue Department of North Carolina, recently took delivery of these twin Sutphen Model S4 Shield Pumpers. The apparatus features a Cummings ISL 400HP engine, Allison EVS3000 transmission, Sutphen 10” raised roof cab with an EMS compartment against the back wall and four crew seating positions along with the driver and officer. The apparatus has a Hale QMAX 1500 GPM pump, front bumper extension for a quick attack line, a 750 gallon water tank. The Sutphen body is a double high side rescue body with 27-1/4” deep compartments from top to bottom. Aluminum wheels with On-Spot tire chains, electric ladder rack, Smart Power 8KW PTO generator. The NFPA emergency lighting package is all Whelen LED lights with the addition of a Rota-Ray LED light above the front grill. The apparatus was sold and is serviced by Stevens Fire Equipment of North Carolina.
Pleasant Mount Emergency Services Pennsylvania
(1) Elliptical Tanker
Sutphen East is proud to announce the delivery of Pleasant Mount, PA Elliptical Tanker. This unit features a Kenworth T-800 chassis, Class One module with Hale 500gpm pump, 3000 Gallon Elliptical tank, mirrored wrap, Swivel dump, and Zico drop down Porta-Tank rack.
Wilder Fire Department Kentucky
(1) Monarch Rescue
Wilder, Kentucky has taken delivery of a Sutphen Monarch Custom Rescue Pumper. This apparatus is equipped with a 2000 GPM Hale Pumps, 750 gal Tank, 30 gal Foam cell with Foam System, 10kw Onan Hydraulic Generator, (2) Hydraulic Rescue Reels with Custom Tools mounts in the extended front bumper ran by the Onan Generator. HVAC unit for rehab during summer and winter months. The apparatus also has a 9000 KW Command Light Tower and a 200 lb capacity oil dry hopper mounted to the top rear of the rescue body with a flexible pipe running to street level for easy access. The apparatus cab also has seating capacity of 8 personnel with EMS cabinetry for easy access to firefighters.
City of Norwich Fire Dept. New York
(1) Shield Series S1
The City Of Norwich, Norwich,NY took delivery of a 2009, S-1 Shield aluminum pumper. Their Shield has a 1500 GPM Hale pump, ISL 425 HP Cummins motor, 6000 watt Smart power generator, 150' cord reel, 3000 watts of lighting,1000 gallon water tank,On Spot tire chains, full Whelen LED light package, and an Elkhart "Stinger" pre piped deck gun. The short wheel base makes this a perfect pumper for these North East tight streets. Sold by Jim Snyder
Boynton Beach Fire Department Florida
(2) SL 75 Aerial Ladder
Boynton Beach, FL has taken delivery of their second Sutphen SL-75 Quint, this unit has a 73" cab with special compartments running through the back of the cab. It has overhead storage and EMS cabinets in the cab. It is powered by a Detroit 515 hp engine and has a 1500 gpm Hale pump with an Akron Foam System. The 75 ft ladder has a 1,000 lb tip load and is equipped with an Elkhart RF Scorpion monitor. The unit is equipped with our Severe Duty Air Conditioning, along with a LED Warning light package. It has a 10kw Onan hydraulic generator with several scene lights and an electrical cord reel. The rescue body is constructed of stainless steel with numerous shelves and trays. This unit was sold and serviced by South Florida Emergency Vehicles.
Palm Beach County Fire Florida
(4) Shield Series S4 Pumpers
Palm Beach County, FL has recently taken delivery of Four (4) Sutphen Custom S-4 Shield Pumpers, all equipped with 370 hp Cummins ISL engines, 1500 GPM Hale Pumps, 750 gal Poly Tanks, 20 gal foam cells, Hale 3.3 Foam Systems with Hale EZ Fill. Two HID Brow Lights and HID Telelights, EMS cabinet in Cab, Heavy Duty Air Conditioning, All LED Warning Lights, and Front Suction and Discharge. These Units were Sold and Service by South Florida Emergency Vehicles.
Boca Raton Fire Department Florida

Boca Raton, FL has taken delivery of Two (2) Sutphen Monarch Custom Rescue Pumpers, both equipped with 1500 GPM Hale Pumps, 750 gal Tanks, 30 gal Foam cell with Foam System, 8kw Onan Hydraulic Generator, (2) Hydraulic Rescue Reels with Custom Tools mounts in the extended front bumper. (2) 110V Cab Roof Mounted Air Conditioners to Pre Cool the Cab. Keyless Entry System with electronic locks for both the cab doors and all compartment doors. Elkhart Vulcan RF remote controlled Deck Gun with Extender. EMS cabinets in cab with custom storage. These units were sold and serviced by South Florida Emergency Vehicles.
Plainfield Twp VFC Pennsylvania
(1) Shield Series S2
The Plainfield Township Vol. Fire Co. has taken delivery of their new Shield Series S2 pumper. Located 8 miles from Easton Plainfield is a first time Sutphen customer. Their new engine features a Cummins 400 HP engine, 1500 gpm Waterous pump, 1000 gallons of water, LED emergency lighting and hydraulic generator. This apparatus was sold by Lawver Fire Apparatus.
